I have worked with Leigh on a couple of occasions firstly, when I started at CMS Group he was senior engineer and his work ethic spoke for itself. Customers and clients would regularly request for Leigh to be the attending engineer for incidents and problems as he had created excellent bonds with many of the senior management/directors at client sites and they knew he would not leave until issue was resolved.
We both moved on in 2015 to different employers but we stayed in touch. In 2021 my team at Barclays were extremely busy designing and implementing new environments and applications and resolve a number of end of life or out of support technologies. We ultimately needed someone with experience of maintaining understanding and managing environments and applications to a high level (Level 3 support) but were struggling to find candidates with the required aptitude.
In February 2021 I contacted Leigh and asked of his availability, he advised that he had just finished a number of projects in his existing position and would be open to a move. Even though Leigh had had no exposure to certain requirements of the role he was soon up to speed providing cover for application BAU issues, ongoing project delivery as well as providing detailed documentation into our confluence database.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Leigh for any infrastructure, Cloud Management or DevOps style role. What he lacks in experience he more than makes up for in tenacity and would have no hesitation on recommending him to any prospective employer.

I can confirm I worked with Leigh Burrows at CMS Group from 2007 until 2014 when I left the company. Leigh was employed as part of our Onsite Engineer team but also had lots of transferable experience on the Service Desk dealing with remote server & citrix issues etc.
Leigh excelled in all duties given to him and grew in confidence, strength and maturity in the years I collaborated with him. He has great interpersonal skills, whether it be onsite with his co-workers or liaising directly with customers. He became integral to the company and had lots of passion to improve his IT knowledge beyond the companies expectations.
